I admit I have been quite active in posting the past few weeks. I have been treating this as being “in residence” on social media. Summer always comes with great challenges as I attempt to work while school is out and childcare around me is extremely limited. In order to maintain an artistic practice, these collages and subsequent animations have become like a daily meditation for me; creative acts I can work away on here and there throughout the day. I did something similar during the pandemic with my p5js sketches. I am not sure how long this will last, but in the meantime has been quite meaningful for me.
